An Evening with Martin Johnson

Head to Sixways on Thursday 14 July for an evening in the company of World Cup-winning England rugby captain Martin Johnson, CBE.

Martin played 84 times for England and played for the British and Irish Lions on three consecutive tours. He became the first man to captain the Lions on successive tours leading them to a famous series win in South Africa in 1997.

Martin famously captained the victorious England side to World Cup glory in 2003, becoming the first Englishman to lift the Rugby World Cup. He went on to become one of the most respected players to don the famous English shirt.

After a successful playing career, Martin spent 3 years as head coach of England and is now regarded as a rugby broadcaster for the BBC during the Six Nations.

The evening will commence at 7.30pm and will include a delicious two-course meal, charitable raffle and auction with proceeds raised from the evening supporting the work of national charity StreetGames, which uses sport to transform the lives of children living in poverty.
